Renewal of Resident Status:
Once a United States Resident has removed his/her conditional resident status s/he has the option of remaining a permanent resident or to naturalize to the status of United States citizen. If the permanent resident decides to remain a permanent resident s/he must renew his/her permanent resident card every ten years.
Certain situations, like arrests or criminal activity, may make the process of renewal dangerous for some applicants. For this reason it is important that you contact an experienced attorney once you decide to begin the process. If you have any questions or concerns about renewing your permanent resident card (green card), feel free to contact Shryock Law Firm, LLC for a consultation.
